A Mimi Cafe in Poncha Springs

Horrible food. All ridiculously overpriced prepackaged frozen food tastes like it is from a microwave. The woman running the place was the meanest person I've met. We spent 30 minutes after leaving explaining to my very young daughters as to why the owner was, in their words, 'so not nice'. Do not stop here....ever...

New owners. Now called the hunger shack. Overpriced and underwelming. Check out my $3.50 cone. Took 10 min to get the cone with no one in line. Hopefully it gets better as this is a nice stop on 285. - apparently the service inside is better and the hamburgers are good.

Please do not come here, you will leave angry. Everything Thai/Asian was disgusting and overpriced, everything can out of a frozen box.

Super expensive dump of a restaurant, run by an anti-American foreigner with a nasty attitude that wants to stand at the window and spread propaganda and till you how much he dislikes the president instead of cooking the order.

Overly priced for the quality. Ordered burgers and they were dry and tasteless, not juicy like they advertise. Also, they hardly give any fries which is ridiculous considering what you pay.

Delicious Thai food and ice cream. We make sure when we are in the area to stop for a meal. Vegetables are fresh and sauces homemade.

Don't do it.

We ordered hamburgers, fries, pad thai. The hamburgers and fries did not taste good. The pad thai came with a tiny amount of vegetables. It was expensive. They have no bathroom, only a single porta-potty.

Great food considering the location. Friendly service, fresh tasting and feeling, a little spendy. There is a restroom (port-o-potty - very well kept) but only for customers. No trash cans, but as soon as we were finished an attendant came out to take our trash. The window lady was happy to refill my dad’s water bottle.

I like that their Pad Thai has no egg. Peanut sauce is spicy and good!

WALK OUT OF THIS RESTAURANT RIGHT NOW. We sat down and ordered.. then read reviews and saw how bad it was... we should have left and cancelled the order on the way out... instead we ate some of the worst, and definitely the most overpriced, food of our lives!

Horrible pad Thai! Claims it is "healthy" but just boiled chicken with boiled noodles and boiled broccoli. Sauce is on side and awful. The only way this was healthy us I could NOT eat it!

This has to be the worst soft serve I've ever had in my life. Couldn't even finish it. Couldn't even find a trashcan to throw it away- they have all of their trashcans hidden because they don't want people to know how much ice cream is in the trash. I had to give it back to the owner and they offered no refund. Its basically frozen soylent green with large grainy urine crystals in it.

Horrible! And horribly overpriced! There is simply nothing good about this place. The food is not prepared well, not authentic and their chicken nuggets are straight from a microwaveable box. Anywhere else would be a better choice.

This was the worst food I've ever had in my whole life. The food was way overpriced, especially for the amount you get, and the lady running the place was the most rude and disrespectful woman I have ever had serve me. I encourage everyone to find somewhere else to eat. The sauces tasted old, as well as the source ice cream, and the burgers were dry. It was horrible.

Total SCAM! $13.75 "Seasame Chicken" was a actually CHEAP freezer-section CHICKEN NUGGETS cut in half, covered in nasty sauce, along side some freezer brocolli that had barely been defrosted!!! My boyfriends brocolli was still frozen!!! THEY DO NOT COOK ANYTHING HERE, IT IS ALL REHEATED, CHEAP, FREEZER SECTION FOOD. The chicken nuggets were EXACTLY like the big bags of nuggets you can get in the freezer section at Wal-Mart. We sat near the kitchen, no sounds of cooking what so ever, food was out in a few minutes. We only stopped here so I could use the restroom, but they won't let you use their porta potty without buying food, so we got this $13.75 dish-from-hell that should have been $3 tops. GROSSLY OVERPRICED JUNK!!!!WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AT A RESTRAUNT!

Overpriced and poorly made. Chicken sandwich was just cooked chicken, no seasoning, on a hoagie roll, nothing else.

Artificial smoothies for 8 bucks. Should have checked Google reviews before we went here. Oh ,and by "cafe" the mean Folgers....

Simple food. Tasted good. A quick roadside place to stop at while traveling through.

Mimi is wonderful and it's a great Quick Stop she's got some good vegetarian options my husband loves the cheeseburger and shakes I like the pad thai she always has vegetables also with chicken Pad Thai. It's a good place to stop if you're on a long bicycle ride and she makes good food

Horrible food. Over priced burgers. At this point, a McDonald's or Burger King is way better.

Got the shrimp pad Thai and the potstickers, everything was great. Lady running the place was nice. She brought the food outdoors so we could eat while starting at the curves of Pahlone Peak.Glad I wasn't deterred by the other reviews. They seem to think you can have jumbo shrimp on the Colorado plateau that isn't from frozen???

Don't confuse this with a roadside dairy freeze. Yes they have ice cream and it's fine. The food is horrible and horribly overpriced. Keep diving.

Go here if you want to feel disrespected and violated! Rude ....employees argued among each other about price and then took my daughter's plate of food right out from under her while chewing food....Had to take her plate back so she could finish eating!

Agree with everyone else... we actually walked away because the person working was so rude.

I loved my Pad Thai! The lady taking orders couldn't speak the best English, but that how you know it's good.
